"You will show me the path of life; In your presence is fullness of joy; At your right hand are pleasures forevermore."- Psalms 16:11 NKJV
Nothing competes with the joy of carrying God's presence. This is the secret of the success of Jesus ministry while on earth. He didn't have a care in the world because God was with Him. He concerned Himself with obeying the Father's voice, doing always whatever is pleasing to Him.
This is true prosperity in delighting to do the Father's will. A life that is totally given over to what God desires is true living. One could have all the wealth, fame and power in the whole world and still miss God, for as the scriptures teaches us "a man's life does not consist of the abundance of the things he possesses."
But when our lives are connected with God, then joy that knows no bound gushes forth in our heart. To be where God is, is our soul's delight and no man has really begun to live who does not know God. To know God is to know life and He that loves Him, loves life.
A life separated from God is no life. Such a life is steeped in misery and pain. Even if he possesses the most prized treasure in the whole world, it suffices not.
To miss God is to miss a life full of bliss.
Never take Him for granted!
