Speak!

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”- Genesis 1:1

Isn't it interesting that the first thing the Bible tells us about God is that He is a creator.

When we look at the whole universe, we see its vastness and the intelligence that permeates it. This no doubt gives us an idea of the mind of our creator God.

But here's another interesting thing we must never miss.
How the universe came into being!

Hebrews 11 verse 3 gives us an idea.  "God spoke the universe into being!"

These two words 'God said' were repeated through the first chapter of Genesis and this helps us to know how God functions.

God spoke out the dreams and desires of His heart and He acted congruently with what He had said.

This is how He wants us to function too. Remember "there is power of life and death in the tongue". This means the tongue, your tongue has the creative ability to make things happen for you or ruin it. The way you use it, is your own prerogative.

God desires that you speak forth the images He has formed in your mind. Those desires He has carved in your heart. Speaking it, creates for you the opportunity for their manifestation.

Imagine if Joseph had not spoken out his dreams, how then could he have emerged.

Don't speak out the desires of the enemy, rather speak out the desires of God for you and act congruently with what you have spoken.
