Act on what you now know!

"Success is not so much about what you know but how well you have applied that which you know." - MrValue

Another way to put this statement is saying success is about application of knowledge not its accumulation. Education has no profit if it doesn't improve one's standard of living. Lots of folks just delight themselves in acquiring knowledge upon knowledge without applying any. That's why we have many professors who are broke.

Why is this so?
All they have is head knowledge, no application. They can teach well that which they have acquired but applying it is the real deal.

Knowlege is potential power, which means power or ability at rest. Until it is put to work, then it has no capacity to transform your situation.

It is just like having the key with you and still be knocking at a closed door.

How unwise!

We are a fortunate generation because every information we need about anything is at our finger tips and that at no cost to us.

There is nothing we set out to accomplish that has not been done before and there are information in form of books, audios and videos  available to us to prepare us for that chosen line of interest.

Yet all we do is just stock ourselves with this information and do nothing about it. Some even pride themselves with how well they have mastered a particular thing just by reading about it but in actual practice they have no clue.

No matter how well you read about swimming or study it. Until you really get into the swimming pool and apply all the knowledge you have acquired about the art of swimming, you are only a joker.

He that fails to apply that which he has learnt is no different from the one who hasn't made an effort to learn in the first instance. Both are in the same boat.

Knowledge backed up with action is a formidable tool to accomplishing anything great.
