"You don't have a money problem but a wisdom or an idea problem." - Mike Murdock
The first time I came across this statement I almost didn't believe it but when I sat down to really understand it then I got it and realized the truth in it.
Truly, we often think that the solution to our money challenges is to have more money. And yes that may be true but herein lies the dilemma, how we intend to get it.
The only way familiar to many of us is either someone gives us more money based on our request or we apply for a high paying job or we request for a raise, if we already have a job.
The only wrong thing about all of these approaches is that, the focus is on, what you can get from people and this is a dangerous place to be because it opens you up to frustration and disappointment due to unmet expectations.
But here's another way to see it. Do what's within your control. Think of what you can do for people. Givers are no doubt receivers, this is a law. Do something! give something!
Meet an urgent need or solve an immediate problem.

Someone goes for shopping and by the time he is done, thousands of naira has been spent buying some certain items he believes he needs.

Maybe there's this big musical concert in town and the registration fee is pegged at #10,000 or more and the concert would only last for a day.
Yet people come in their large numbers ranging in the thousands or even millions, willing and ready to pay this amount. Some even pay more, like the VIPs or the VVIPs who has some special privileges.
Remember, these people were not forced to come or pay, they came of their own volition because they had a need which the concert would meet. The need to be entertained.
Yet we complain there is no money in the country. No matter the economic recession in a country, people will never stop buying food, because it's an urgent need. We need food to survive.
Why do companies hire people? whether big or small corporations..
Are they on a charity venture with the intention or mission to dash out money to some folks they believe needs to be helped or rather they are looking for competent people whose input to the organization would meet a need or solve a problem.

You get the drift!
It's about time you have a change of mindset.
There are lots of money flying above our heads on a regular basis. People make money everyday and people get an employment too on a regular basis. Though a huge chunk maybe unemployed, yet, those who end up with the jobs are those who have the wherewithal. They add value to the organization.
Stop being miserable and start doing something!
Money easily flows to the person who meets a need. To validate this statement, you will realize that all the money you have spent for the last couple of years and still continues to spend today has and will always go to those who meet a specific need of yours.
So when next you complain of your lack of money, realize that it's an idea problem. Recognize the urgent needs around you, then come up with a plan to meet those needs and soon enough money comes at your beck and call.
