The Cost Of Being an High-Flyer

Hi there,

People want to be successful, but they are not tenacious about it, they want it the easy way. That explains why their are few mountain climbers and  high-fliers upon the face of the earth. If you really desire to be a success and you want it as bad as you want to breathe, you would not settle for less nor chicken out at the slightest challenge, rather you would go all the way and at whatever cost, that is necessary.

Being a success at what you do, determining to be the best at what you do, is not something that comes cheaply. You have to do more than just talking it, to really reach the pinnacle. You have to work at it. And this demands a number one key element called discipline.

Most times you would not really feel like doing most things that you need to do in order to reach your dream, but you do it anyway. If you wait, till you feel like it before you act, you would not get anything done.

Being an highflier is not automatic, it doesn't just happen, you work at it, and that you do daily. King Solomon said  "A man skillful, efficient and competent in his work will serve kings and not lowly, unimportant folks."
Can you see that, being an high-flyer can be difficult but it's not impossible. There is place for you at the top but it comes at a cost. The cost of self discipline,  the cost of working on yourself daily to become better, the cost of being willing to accept mistakes, sometimes it might be huge and fatal, but you learn from them and move on, the cost of sitting down at the feet of a mentor who understands the path you have chosen and able to guide you along that path, the cost of yielding to the instructions of such mentor.

All this adds up together and makes it possible for you to reach your dreams and become the best you have always wanted to be.

So friends, you have to count the cost and see if you are willing to pay it and pay in full.

Glad you had a great day.

Anthony Desalu,
Your Friend and Well Wisher.
