The Holy Book says, he that walks with the wise shall become wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. You take the mold of the people you company with, those you spend your ear-time with whether by books, audio or TV or the people you commune with on a regular basis.
If you desire to succeed and make a difference in your world, you can't listen to everything or watch anything that is shown on TV.
To succeed, you need to find the right company, your own company, those who will help your baby (i.e your dreams) leap.
Your vision chooses your company and decides the kinds of books you read. It places a definite demand upon your life and five years from now would reveal if you have made the right choice or not.
