Choose to be cheerful

Gloominess is like a contagious disease, no one likes to associate with anyone that carries a gloomy face. They are often angry about everything and complain about everything. It is an unhealthy attitude which has harmful effects on one's personal well-being. It kills more than any deadly disease known to man and what's worse is, it is easy for anyone to fall into it.

Cheerfulness is it's opposite,  everyone loves to be around cheerful people. This explains why comedians make more money than most business owners. Cheerfulness is a healthy attitude which impacts one's personal well-being positively. It stirs up creativity and keeps the mind alive and active to capture great ideas.

To be cheerful and avoid depression is a matter of choice. It doesn't just happen! And to do this, you need to constantly guide your mind's eye to focus on the things, you do have working well in your favor and be grateful for them.
